By drinking more water it reduces hunger by suppressing your appetite and decreases your food intake. Water has zero calories and raises your metabolism which helps increase the rate your body burns fat by breaking down the fat cells.

Flushes out toxins

Water is a detoxifier and helps you flush the toxins out of your body through urination and sweat reducing your odds in having a kidney, urinary tract infection or a kidney stone.

Sustains regularity

Water helps you digest food and keeps you regular. Helps prevent constipation.

Increased energy and relieves fatigue

Water can boost your energy levels. Your brain in mostly water and drinking water helps you think, focus and concentrate.

Lowers blood pressure

Drinking water supports to get more fluids through the blood vessels and thins the blood creating lower blood pressure.

Improves skin complexion

Water helps moisturize and deliver nutrients to your skin. It helps improve the elasticity and can delay the aging process, wrinkles and fine lines. Water can help your skin appear much clearer.

Prevents cramps and sprains

Drinking water can help with proper lubrication of joints and make muscles more elastic so you are less likely to have a injury.

Helps with headaches

The common cause of headaches and migraines is often dehydration. Increasing the amount of water, you drink can reduce the number and strength of your headaches.

Helps prevent dehydration

In the hot summer weather we sweat more and can be more easily dehydrated. Water helps replenish what we sweat out. Eating a salty snack can help our bodies retain the water in the hot summer months so we do not become dehydrated and loose our electrolytes.

Sugary drinks and soda contribute to weight gain and contribute to belly fat. Drinks that contain a lot of sugar can lead to insulin resistance resulting in metabolic syndrome which can lead to heart disease and type 2 diabetes. So the next time you feel thirsty grab a free glass of water and if you want to add some additional flavor you can add fresh berries, lemons or cucumbers.
