What is a Licensed Practical Nurse?

Our licensed practical nurses are an important part of our medical team They provide hands-on care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and other health care providers.

Our LPNs have many duties at the Family Health Clinic, including:

  • Documenting patient records
  • Placing patients in rooms
  • Providing immunizations
  • Drawing blood for labs
  • Assisting Nurse Practitioners with the care of patients
  • Working the Nurse Triage desk and returning patient phone calls

Today, we’re excited to spotlight our great LPNs! Learn more by reading our interviews with three of them below.
