Mobile outreach

What is mobile outreach?

The Family Health Clinic is on the move! Our Mobile Outreach trailer brings essential resources directly to our communities. We use the trailer to store, transport, and distribute necessities such as toothpaste, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and other hygiene and cleaning products. By partnering with local organizations and participating in community drives and donations, we continuously stock the trailer with essential items and distribute them to our community at no cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions regarding Mobile Outreach that aren’t answered here, email Barb Hickner at Barb.Hickner@gmail.com

Mobile Outreach is a program offered through the Family Health Clinic in partnership with local organizations to provide household supplies and personal hygiene items to families in the Carroll and White County communities. These supplies include, but are not limited to, shampoo, soap, women’s hygiene products, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and diapers. There is no cost to participate.

Mobile Outreach is available to anyone in need of household supplies. With the rising cost of food and other essential goods, we provide these supplies free of charge so participants can allocate their funds toward other necessities.

Mobile Outreach operates on multiple days throughout the month in various locations. We ask that participants limit their visits to once per month per family. We understand that emergencies may arise, and we will consider these on an individual basis. However, we also want to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to access the items they need.

Because Mobile Outreach relies on grants and donations, each family will be asked to complete a confidential questionnaire. This includes information such as household size, family income, and a few other details. The information is used solely to secure additional funding to sustain the program.

Mobile Outreach is made possible through generous donations from community organizations, local churches, and agencies, along with grant funding. If you or someone you know would like to contribute, please contact Barb Hickner at barb.hickner@gmail.com.

A monthly calendar is shared on social media and throughout the community. You can also subscribe to our email list to receive schedules and updates directly in your inbox! To join the mailing list and stay up to date on news and information, click here.
