A Conversation with Kelsey

What drew you to the Family Health Clinic?

I was drawn to the clinic because I loved the idea of bringing healthcare to smaller, more rural communities. The resources within the clinic that are available to patients are also a great bonus.

What are you most looking forward to about working at the Family Health Clinic?

I am looking forward to being more integrated into the community and helping to provide healthcare in a more community focused setting.

What is your favorite part about being a Nurse Practitioner?

I love being able to take care of people and to help them meet their healthcare goals.

Why do you think the Family Health Clinic is important in the local community?

I think being able to provide healthcare in a more rural setting is very important because it helps to promote better health outcomes within the community.

What is your specialty (Family, Women’s Health, Children’s Health, etc.) and what made you choose that specialty?

My specialty is family medicine – I enjoy being able to take care of people from all walks to life, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. I appreciate the different needs that come along with the different age groups.

Is there anything else you want to share about yourself? (Hobbies, family life, etc.)

My husband and his family farm is in the Carroll County area and I have 3 small children. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, and being outside.

Kelsey, we are so happy to have you as part of the Family Health Clinic!
