A Conversation with Anne
What drew you to the Family Health Clinic?
The integrated care model is evidenced-based as most effective for rural and underserved communities. Since my goal has been to bring quality mental health care to underserved communities, the FHC is a perfect fit.
What excites you about working at the Family Health Clinic?
I’m most excited about meeting my clients and collaborating with the team of providers here at the FHC.
As a Behavioral Health Specialist, what are your duties at the FHC?
I’m here to see clients with behavioral health needs and to support medical staff in identifying which patients of theirs may benefit from behavioral health services.
Why do you think the Family Health Clinic is important to the local community?
I grew up in Winamac and have first hand experience living in an underserved community. People can’t thrive if their base needs aren’t met. That’s why the work done at the FHC is so important to the communities we serve.
Is there anything else you want to share about yourself?
My husband and I live outside of the town of Pulaski and we have 3 black cats; Pierre, Houdini, and Mad Max Road Kitty. We love spending time grilling and entertaining friends and family and tending our ever-growing garden.
Anne, we are so happy to have you as part of the Family Health Clinic!
