Over the past year, we’ve been sharing updates on the construction of the new location for the Family Health Clinic of Monon. Now, we’re excited that the grand opening will be here soon!

To get you as excited as we are, we’re giving you an inside look at what you can expect from the new location and sharing why our providers and executives are looking forward to the opening.

Facts & Figures

Here are a few quick facts that give you a look at what you can expect from the new building:

• The new Family Health Clinic of Monon will be approximately 4,000 square feet.
• There will be 6 exam rooms, one of which will also be a “procedure room”.
• The building will also have a laboratory, lobby, business office, behavioral health office, pharmacy space, conference room, provider offices, nurses’ station, and more.
• With the new building, we will be expanding our hours of operation to: 7:00am–7:00pm Monday – Thursday and 8:00am-5:00pm on Friday
• You’ll also notice that we will have more providers in Monon, thanks to a scheduling model that accommodates more providers to work at the same time, for more access.

Building Highlights

The new Family Health Clinic of Monon is designed to enhance patients’ experiences and their privacy. There will be separate check-in and check-out areas, and there is also private space to work with an Insurance Navigator if patients have questions about their health insurance. We’re also happy to share that the new building was built to be energy efficient. And, unlike our previous location, we will have a spacious parking lot for our staff and patients!

“I am excited about opening the new location because it will allow us to better serve the community. We will be able accommodate more patient services and expand the number of providers and hours of operation.

“The new location will allow the Family Health Clinic to serve more patients in need of accessible, affordable, high-quality healthcare.  We will be offering expanded hours of operation and are accepting new patients from Monon and the surrounding communities. Our providers and staff bring many years of experience and will take care of patients of all ages.

An expanded facility brings additional, convenient access for patients, regardless of their insurance status.  Several staff members speak Spanish and Nurse Practitioners are available in pediatrics and family practice. The building was constructed by a local general contractor and we have already added new jobs, so we are contributing to the local economy in many ways.” – Jim Layman, Executive Director
