By The Family Health Clinic Team

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Chad Springer as the new Executive Director of the Family Health Clinic! Chad brings with him experience and a passion for community healthcare that aligns perfectly with our mission. Education and Background

Chad is a graduate of Carroll High School (1999), Wabash College (2003), and Indiana University Kokomo, where he earned his MBA in 2007. His academic journey has provided a strong foundation for his professional career in healthcare management and operations.

Previous Work Experience

Chad’s extensive experience in the healthcare sector spans over two decades, with notable roles that have prepared him well for his new position:

  • Indiana Health Centers, Inc. (2014-2024): Chad spent a decade at Indiana Health Centers, Inc., starting as a Practice Manager at the IHC Kokomo clinic for five years. He then served as Chief Operations and Quality Officer for three years and Chief Strategy Officer for two years.
  • Community Howard Regional Health (Kokomo) (2003-2014): Over eleven years, Chad held various roles, including Utilization Review Coordinator, Quality Data Analyst, Physician Recruiter, and Practice Manager. He also led the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Physician Training during their EMR conversion.

What Brought Chad to the Family Health Clinic?

“Having spent the last 10 years at a large Federally Qualified Health Center spanning from South Bend down to Bedford, I am excited to have the opportunity to return closer to home and help serve the patients of the Carroll and White County areas.”

Looking Forward: Chad’s Vision

“I am looking forward to building on the great progress that the Family Health Clinic has made over the last several years.  We have a dedicated staff that want nothing but the best for the patients we serve, and I will do my best to help support them in being able to provide access to quality health care to everyone in our communities!”

The Importance of the Family Health Clinic

“Everyone, regardless of their ability to pay, should have easy access to high quality healthcare.  Living in rural communities can present challenges in accessing this care and we strive to bridge these challenges by providing high quality, affordable healthcare close to home.”

More About Chad

“I am happily married to Tracy (Brown) Springer, and have two children, Bryleigh and Braden, who attend Carroll Jr/Sr High School.” He also enjoys coaching local youth sports, including baseball, basketball, football, and softball. “I enjoy being very active and spending time with family and friends!”
