As 2019 comes to an end, we are continuing our annual tradition of looking back at the year and celebrating some of our top moments. These moments include our great staff, our amazing community, and the expansion of the high-quality care we can provide to you.

Welcoming New Staff to the Family Health Clinic
In 2019, we had the pleasure of welcoming many new people onto our staff. Above, you can see the pictures of these new staff members.

Renovating the Family Health Clinic of Delphi
This year, we renovated the Family Health Clinic of Delphi. We remained open during the construction process, and if you visited during that time, you might have noticed that we had quite a bit happening.
The renovations were completed near the end of the summer, and we now have more patient rooms, a redesigned waiting room, a new check-in and check-out experience, and new behavioral health rooms! If you haven’t seen the renovated Delphi clinic yet, we encourage you to make an appointment and come in to see it for yourself.
A Visit from Congressman Jim Baird
In July, Congressman Jim Baird come to visit the Family Health Clinic. He toured the clinic and listened to our presentation about rural healthcare.

“Enjoyed visiting the Family Health Clinic in Delphi this week for the unveiling of their newly renovated clinic space. Preventative care, rural access to healthcare and prenatal care are vitally important to our nation and district, and we thank you for the work you do in our community.”
Introducing the New Family Health Clinic Website
We recently unveiled the new Family Health Clinic website. On the new website, you’ll find an updated and easy-to-use design, and we now have more patient information than before.

Celebrating National Health Center Week
This year marks the third year that we’ve celebrated National Health Center Week in August. This year we hosted a meet and greet at each clinic and made sure to show appreciation for our great employees! During this week, we also highlighted why having a Federally Qualified Health Center in our community matters.

Expanding Our Services
In 2019, we expanded the services the Family Health Clinic can offer those in the community. Our two main areas of expansion were in our Behavioral Health Services and our Women’s Health Services.
This year, Analei Whitlock, one of our nurse practitioners, became Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified. With this degree, she can provide mental health care services from individuals infants to geriatric. Specifically, now Analei can:
With the certification, Analei can now:
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to clarify mental health diagnosis
- Assist providers and the patient to work together to make a plan to improve their mental health
- Prescribe and monitor mental health medications through the lifespan
- Order and interpret testing to assist in the mental health diagnosis
- And more
Our Women’s Health services also expanded with the addition of our new CenteringPregnancy™ Program. The CenteringPregnancy™ program is transforming prenatal care and taking it into the future. Learn more about the program by reading these blogs posts about it:

Seeing You Out in the Community
Last but certainly not least, we had another great year participating in a wide range of community events! You might have seen us at the county fairs, health fairs, walks and other festivals during 2019.
